![]() ![]() I haven't opened it up because I don't want to mess anything up. The only thing it needs is the bulb for the power light to be replaced. Only downside is it's huge, but then again if it wasn't, it probably wouldn't sound as good. My Kemper Profiler is definitely still my main amp but this one is really enjoyable to play through. Now however, I've decided to keep this thing. I figured worse case, I'd probably resell it and get my money back. I picked it up for $80, as a gamble because I was unfamiliar with the brand. If you want an amazing clean sound, this will definitely do it. ![]() If you're looking for a hard rock or metal solution, this probably isn't the amp for you, although it can get SUPER loud. A 4 channel vintage Kustom or Kasino 100 or 200 series Head is really the PA head, but will work fine for guitar and 85 good for Bass. One of the best clean, solid state amps I've ever heard. Anyhow, based on my experience, this thing sounds incredible. He also told me Tom Petty LOVED these things, FWIW. However, this will only work if the orange is built with a line out from the preamp and the kasino. In laymans terms youd be combining half of each amp into one complete amp. Both were a sub-brand of Kustom, of the famous. What youd need is to run the preamp of the orange into the power amp of the casino that way youre getting the orange tone with the extra volume the kasino can provide. The U200 bass amp was 'untested/non-functioning', and the Club PA head was tested and working. It's supposed to be a '72 but the original owner couldn't remember for sure. My first DOUBLE new amp day, and probably the last one for a good long while, so Im a little extra excited. Zuit suit silver stripes on black isnt exactly a hot commodity these days. Good luck on finding a match for your grill cloth too. And I'll be first to admit I dont type well either. Pretty G/Dam good guessing for a snob who cant spell. KEI stands for Kustom Eminance Intergrated. I just googled up the info from the Kustom site now and they used KEI speakers in them. One with a round magnet and one with a square. They were bottom of the barrel budget speakers a bunch of low end amps used and basically came in two types. Earley eminance speakers are not the speakers you buy today either. That was what the budget manudacturers did to copy Altecs and JBL's to give that cloned look but totally missed it on sound quality. What would you guess? The speaker were crappy sounding too. My memories of the speakers before I googled it was they were black, and had no manufacturers name on them. He makes a post about a rare amp Kustom made without the tuck and roll that likely noone else at HC has ever heard before no less gigged with for 10 years and he calls me a snob? Like I said My old bass player still has his from the 70s, and Its still not a super amp and nothings going to change that. ![]()
